Book Review: The Story Biz Handbook
Posted: 2005-07-31 By SNStaff

"Wow! I can not believe how much material is actually in this book. It’s packed. I’ve been a working performer for more than two decades yet I am still learning something from this book every time go through it. I wish this had been around when I got started in Storytelling. Along with books like such as the "Storyteller’s Start Up Book," this is a must have for your shelf if you are serious about the business of Storytelling.

What I especially enjoy about this book is the good mix between text and illustrations. While it would have been easy to make a huge book like this be all about the pictures, Dianne has placed a boatload of written content as well. Don’t let the hefty price of $34.95 bother you. I think she should have charged twice that amount. You’re getting a substantial book with lots of useful and tested content. Maybe you paid this much for one of the new "Harry Potter" books? I can assure you that there’s much more real-life "magical tips" in this book. Apply just some of the techniques as a performer in any art form and you’ll see your investment come back to you many times over."-Storyteller.net Reviews by Sean Buvala.
