Welcome to a FREE Houston, TX area workshop sponsored by Storyteller.net and presented by national storyteller Sean Buvala!. Thursday, October 12, 2006 7PM in Houston! What: “Fidget, Flick and Finesse: Improving Your Gestures and Movement as a Storyteller and Public Speaker”
You’ll explore the use of gestures and "where you are in the story" to improve not only your storytelling but all public speaking. Great for professionals, students and anyone who wants to look and sound better in public. Try this one! You will explore the uses of “intentionality,” the “Three Consonants” “Heavy Hands” and more.
Like all of Sean’s workshops, this is a very active, "I was never bored" experience. You will walk out of this workshop with new skills that you can use immediately to improve your speaking and storytelling.
This is a real workshop, not a two-hour sales pitch. You will learn new skills. You will practice these new skills. Come ready to work and play.

Who (For): This workshop is for anyone who is involved in regular public speaking including storytellers, teachers, professionals, preachers and students. This workshop is for beginners and pros. Come learn by doing! This is a highly interactive workshop. You WILL be moving around practicing and developing the skills you are learning.
Bring: Bring these supplies- either 2 one-gallon jugs of water (filled) or two of the heaviest books you can find. Really- Bring these with you. Don’t worry, you will be taking them back home as well.
