Posted: 2009-03-19 By SNStaff

Press Release

"Improving public speaking and business communication skills are the goals of a free Goodyear, Arizona workshop."

Avondale, AZ- Business owners and entrepreneurs who wish to communicate more effectively with customers and clients are invited to attend a free, 90 minute "Introduction to Business Storytelling" workshop on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 930AM. The workshop will be located at the Ground Control Coffee Lounge at 14140 W Indian School Road in Goodyear. Pre-registration is required. For more information, please visit the website at www.executivespeakertraining.com or call the Storyteller.net office at (623) 298-4548.

"A business owner can have no greater skill than to effectively communicate their company’s unique story or narrative," says Sean Buvala, the workshop presenter. Buvala, the director of the national storytelling resource site at Storyteller.net, has been training others in the art of storytelling for business for more than two decades. "Good storytelling, that is sharing the narrative of your people and organization, will improve the bottom line of your business by building trust and integrity with customers and employees."

Buvala offers a larger, multi-day workshop four times a year in Avondale. "However," Sean says, "in this workshop at the end of March, participants have a chance to explore the power of story and storytelling techniques. They will walk out of this short workshop with at least one skill they can immediately put to use in their business. This free workshop creates real results; it is not a two-hour sales pitch."

Business and non-profit staff will not only learn how to tell a story, but some of the essential groundwork of collection business stories.

For more information about group or private coaching or company-wide training in the methods of storytelling for corporate or business use, please contact Sean Buvala via his website at www.seantells.net.
